Seeking an experienced Production and Procurement Officer to fulfil a full-time permanent opportunity with one of my key clients.

The role will be working in a well-established Australian manufacturing business that has recently expanded its operation to Arndell Park. This newly created role will be pivotal as the business takes this next step and will report to the Operations Manager. 

This business has a broad range of customers and provides services to the mining, renewables, infrastructure, food, beverage, and heavy industries with the end goal to deliver a high-quality product that exceeds their customers’ expectations.  
 
The Role This position is a critical part of the NSW operation. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth and timely management of production planning and transactional procurement activities.    Your core responsibilities will include:-

• Production Planning
• Administration
• Purchasing & Procurement functions
• Expediting & Stock Control
• Day-to-day management of varying administration tasks
• Process Improvement

Key Skills and Competencies Required

• Positive attitude and drive
• Strong communication & customer service skills
• Experience undertaking varied roles with the ability to prioritise workload
• Strong commercial skills, ability to build relationships, negotiate and report.
• Previous experience in production planning and/or procurement 
• Prior experience working in the Manufacturing industry - highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail
• Pronto or similar system exposure highly regarded
